Germicidal UVC Disinfecting Linear Light

Germicidal UVC Disinfecting Linear Light

This item can only ship via UPS Ground.

Disinfecting Fixtures for After-Hours/Between-Classes Sanitizing of Surfaces

Our linear UVC germicidal disinfecting fixtures can be suspended from or flush-mounted to the ceiling. For safety, each fixture features redundant built-in motion sensors—one microwave and one PIR—to ensure the light turns off immediately if motion is detected. The fixtures automatically resume operation once their sensors detect it is safe to do so.

Remote-Control Operation

Operation is via an IR remote, with four disinfecting periods to choose from: 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes. The longer the period, the more thoroughly the UVC light is able to penetrate at the full distance of its usable area. Once a period is selected, the lamp will emit a warning tone for 20 seconds before beginning operation.

Sized to Your Needs

The germicidal UVC fixture is available in 2 foot, 3 foot, and 4 foot lengths. Fixture length, installation height, operation time, and the contours of the space you are disinfecting together determine the effective coverage area, but as a general guide, the 2 foot fixture can roughly cover from 160 to 320 sq ft, the 3 foot from 215 to 430 sq ft, and the 4 foot from 430 to 645 sq ft.

Safety note: UVC radiation can cause skin burns and eye injuries that may appear hours after exposure has occurred. Avoid direct skin exposure to UVC radiation and never look directly into a UVC light source, even briefly. For protection, many UVC lamps automatically shut off when approaching motion is detected. For lamps that require an operator, such as handheld UVC sanitizers, we recommend ANSI Z87.1-1989 eye/face protection, long pants and sleeves, and disposable nitrile gloves.
